Day 2 - MIddle Race (Brereton Spurs)

Location:

Brereton Spurs is located to the south west of Rugeley.

Terrain:

A predominantly treed sloping landscape, with a steep escarpment on the east edge, providing much contour detail.

Map:

1:10,000 5m contour detail to ISOM2017, remapped in 2017 by Peel Land Survey using LIDAR data for the first time.

Classes:

Long and short classes are available. This is so a day 2/day 3 combined result can be worked out.

Clothing:

British Orienteering require all competitors to wear clothing that fully covers the torso and legs. There may also be a requirement to carry a hooded waterproof top. If required, there will be notices on the day.
