This will be a middle distance race for the elite and a long distance race for all other classes.

Enjoy challenging, physical terrain including a newly mapped area of mixed deciduous & coniferous woodland on steep slopes opening onto typical runnable Lakeland fell with excellent views of the Duddon Valley, estuary & Morecambe Bay.

Full Pre-O courses will be at Haverigg Dunes, just 20 minutes drive away.

Car Parking

Please do not arrive before 07:30.

Please share transport where possible. Officials with Stop/Go boards will be located at Duddon Bridge. We expect a high volume of traffic so please follow the directions of the officials carefully & be patient as there may be queues.

Cars and 4x4s will park in the Main Car Park field on the east side of Duddon Bridge.
Priority parkers, minibuses, camper vans and coaches will be directed up the Corney Fell Road (west of Duddon Bridge). Minibuses, camper vans and coaches will be linear parked on the Corney Fell Road. Priority parking is in a field.
No exit from any car park before 12:30.

Walk from Parking to Arena  
Main Car Park - Arena: 2k walk,first 500m uphill walk on tarmac road followed by downhill forest track & then level walking through field to the Arena. Allow 30 minutes.
Corney Fell Road - Arena: 500m - 2k along a tarmac road. Allow 20 minutes.
Priority Parking Field - Arena: 200m along a tarmac road.  

Walk from Arena to Starts
Red/Blue Start: 1.4k, 115m climb. Allow 30 minutes.
Orange/Green Start: &1.3k, 130m climb. Allow 30 minutes.
Yellow/White Start: 1.1k, 60m climb. Allow 20 minutes.
