JK 2027 Advance Information

The clubs and members of the South East Orienteering Association are looking forward to welcoming you to the Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering over Easter 2027. It will offer something for all orienteers, from beginners to Elite standard. We are excited to welcome you to some of the best orienteering in the South East of England, with some areas new to orienteering and others that have successfully hosted major events in the past.

The JK is a truly international event, which in 2025 welcomed over 2600 competitors, representing 140 clubs and 28 countries. We will be applying for World Ranking Event status for days 1, 2 and 3.

In addition to the orienteering competitions, we hope that you will enjoy sampling some of the many attractions that this region has to offer. Two days of competition lie within the South Downs National Park, with its diverse scenic landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The Sprint event will take place at Royal Holloway, University of London Egham Campus and is within easy reach of historic locations such as Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle.

All this plus easy access from the motorway network, two major airports (Heathrow and Gatwick) and two ferry ports (Dover and Portsmouth), so there are lots of ways to get here.
